    Day 1

    Day 1 Kos to Astypalea

    Day 1 Kos to Astypalea

    Boarding at the port of Astypalaia after 15.30 and the captain will be informing you about the details of the cruise. Astypalaia called in Italian Stampalia and Ottoman Turkish İstanbulya, is a Greek island. It belongs to the Dodecanese chain in the southeastern Aegean Sea. The island has a rich historical past being mentioned in Greek Mythology and then colonized by the Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans. Astypalea is known as “The Butterfly of the Aegean” because of its shape, white light, and crystal-clear water. The main highlight of Astypalea is the Chora! Local white houses are most common in Cyclades Islands but the island officially belongs to the Dodecanese. We will dock the private rental yacht to Astypalaia Harbor for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Chalki is a Greek island and municipality in the Dodecanese archipelago in the Aegean Sea, some 6 Km west of Rhodes. Early in the morning, we will have a pleasant breakfast on the way to Chalki Island. Chalki is a beautiful island of Dodecanese distinguishes for its traditional architecture and relaxing beaches. Chalki has been chosen as ‘’the island of peace and friendship’’, a meeting place. Nimborio, the capital of Chalki is one of the prettiest neoclassical settlements of Greece! We will stay at Chalki Harbour for the night.

    Day 3 Chalki to Karpathos

    We will set sail to Karpathos after a nice breakfast early in the morning. Karpathos is the second largest of the Greek Dodecanese islands, in the southeastern Aegean Sea. The island has a typical ancient history being mentioned in Homer’s The Iliad and being involved in successive wars and conquests. Karpathos Island is known for its unspoiled nature, magnificent beauties, and wonderful beaches. However, the best-known place of Karpathos is Olympos village on the almost inaccessible hill in the northernmost Karpathos mountains. Thanks to the high position of the village, you can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and sea from many points in the town. We will dock the private yacht to Karpathos Harbor for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Tilos, a small and quiet island in the Dodecanese, hypnotize the visitor with its original atmosphere and unspoiled nature. Tilos island is located between Kos and Rhodes. Remains of a dwarf elephant have also been found on this island, some of whose remains are in the museum. It is one of the small islands belonging to the Dodecanese Islands. The culture of Tilos has also left its mark on time with Byzantine monuments, medieval castles, caves, churches, and rare iconography. You may want to take a bus tour to Megaro Horio, a pretty village set on the hillside below a Medieval castle, which is now experiencing a revival due to the return of ex-pat Greeks to the island. Dinner and overnight stay will be on this lovely island on the private rental yacht Greece.

    We will cruise to Kalymnos Island early in the morning and have a swimming break in a bay around the island. Kalymnos is one of the Northern Islands in the Dodecanese sailing area being the fourth largest of the group. Kalymnos is famous for its rocky landscape and the International Climbing Festival is taking place every year in Kalymnos, attracting climbers from all over the world! You may find yourself doing activities such as climbing, scuba diving, mountain hike, and spelunking. Moreover, Kalymnos is known as an international sponge-harvesting trade center. There’s still a lovely beach at Emborio, a charming resort at Vathi, and the added interest of Telendos. You should also visit the Monastery of Saint Sava near Pothia and buy a local natural sponge in one of the shops. Your private yacht will stay here for the dinner and overnight.

    In the morning we cruise to the island Leros; a small island with a beautiful sea. Leros is a Greek island and municipality in the Dodecanese in the southern Aegean Sea. It lies 317Km from Athens's port of Piraeus. Leros has been able to preserve much of its traditional way of life. You can explore Leros island on foot or by renting a bicycle. To see Leros Castle, you have to climb 300 steps from Platanos. As you climb the stairs from Central Platanos, you pass through narrow streets and flower gardens. Here we’ll have a swimming break and stay at Leros Harbour overnight.

    We will set sail to Nisyros after a nice breakfast early in the morning. Nisyros is a volcanic Greek island and municipality in the Aegean Sea. It’s part of the Dodecanese group of islands, between the islands of Kos and Tilos. One of the features that make Nisyros a tourist destination is a volcano that is still active on the island. Nikea village, which is on the shore of the volcano that last exploded in 1422, attracts you with its mosaic square, church, and snow-white streets. Here in Nisyros Island we will have a swimming break and stay at Nisyros Harbour overnight on the rental yacht Greece.

    In the morning we cruise to the island Rhodes; a large island with a beautiful sea. Rhodos is the capital and the largest island of the Dodecanese group. It is located on the Easternmost side of the Aegean sea. The capital, also called Rhodes, has modern, ancient and medieval places to visit. The island of Rhodos consists of long, sandy beaches and coves. The island of Rhodes is a very popular holiday destination, with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. Lindos and Kamiros are the touristic areas of Rhodes Island. You’ll begin to get a taste of authentic traditional Greece. Here we’ll have a swimming break and stay at Rhodes Harbour overnight on the rental yacht Greece.
